Golden Fiesta Canola Oil and the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) took free heart screenings, medical consultations, and nutrition education to hospitals and communities across the Philippines for World Heart Day 2026. The G.O.L.D.E.N. Movement ran from Sept. 15 to Sept. 29 with other leading hospitals as partners. Golden Fiesta says it is the most prescribed canola oil by doctors in the country.
The campaign took its cue from this year’s World Heart Day theme: “Heart disease can hide in plain sight: Don’t miss a beat!”

What G.O.L.D.E.N. stands for
Each letter of the campaign name is a heart health reminder:
Get checked regularly: Track blood pressure and other key cardiovascular indicators.
Optimize nutrition: Make informed food choices and cook with heart-healthy oils.
Lead an active life: Move and exercise consistently.
Detect risks early: Spot warning signs before they worsen.
Embrace healthy habits: Build heart care into daily routines.
Nourish your heart: Keep up well-rounded wellness practices.
Ina Nocheseda, brand manager for UFC Golden Fiesta, said the partnership with PHC rests on shared effort.
“Promoting heart health is a collective responsibility that requires strong institutional partnerships and deep community-level engagement. Our collaboration with the Philippine Heart Center this World Heart Day reflects NutriAsia’s unwavering commitment to building a healthier nation. By meeting Filipinos where they are, we are fostering sustainable heart-healthy habits that will protect generations of Filipino families to come.”

The movement kicked off Sept. 15 at Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Medical Center. Participants received free blood pressure testing and screenings, nutrition counseling, a Tai Chi session, and samples of Golden Fiesta Canola Oil. The campaign then moved through hospitals in the National Capital Region, Region III (Central Luzon), Region IV-A (CALABARZON), and Region XI (Davao Region).
Camille Santos, consumer lifestage manager for NutriAsia, said the effort aims to reach beyond store shelves.
“Golden Fiesta takes its distinction as the most prescribed canola oil by doctors in the Philippines seriously. For us, this is a call to go beyond retail shelves and traditional marketing to help bring heart health awareness to everyday Filipinos. With our G.O.L.D.E.N. Movement, we are bringing free screenings, medical consultations, and heart-health education directly to communities and hospitals nationwide. Through this initiative, we empower consumers to take charge of their well-being.”
The campaign wrapped up Sept. 29, World Heart Day, at PHC. Medical experts discussed cardiovascular health and the risks of poor lifestyle habits. Chef Ruben, a board member of the Hotel and Restaurant Chefs Association of the Philippines (HRCAP), shared tips on everyday heart-healthy eating and smart choices in the kitchen.
Organizers’ message across every stop was the same: Small, steady changes, from regular checkups to cooking with heart-healthy staples such as Golden Fiesta Canola Oil, can protect Filipino families for years.
