Celeste Cortesi enters the reality space
Celeste Cortesi headlines GTV's 'Celeste Unscripted,' premiering Aug. 8 — a look at her beauty brand Asul, her pregnancy, and life after Miss Universe 2022.

To many Filipinos, Celeste Cortesi is the Filipino-Italian titleholder who represented the country at Miss Earth and Miss Universe. After she missed the cut at the 2022 Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans — the first time in years a Filipina had failed to place — fans wondered how she bounced back and what she'd been up to since.
They'll get an answer starting Aug. 8, when "Celeste Unscripted" premieres on GMA's GTV. Directed by Emmy winner and former MEGA producer Mike Carandang, the series follows Cortesi as CEO of her beauty brand, Asul, and as she prepares for motherhood.
Cortesi is expecting her first child in October with entrepreneur Jonathan Sterling, Carandang's partner in GOAT Creative Studios, the company behind the show.
Inside Episode 1
A small group of media, including pageant press (Alexa attended on behalf of Qrown Philippines), previewed the first episode. It introduces Sterling, Cortesi's boyfriend Benj, and Asul managing director Marky Hora, alongside footage from a Glenn Magazine shoot, glimpses of Cortesi and Sterling's relationship, and a conversation between Cortesi and Benj about her Miss Universe run.
Plenty of theories have circulated about why she didn't advance to the semifinals, but "Celeste Unscripted" and Asul seem to be the real answer. Cortesi has said she was so locked into winning the crown that she never planned for life after the pageant. Carandang promises the series delivers a genuine roller coaster of emotions.

Three more titles are moving through GOAT's pipeline. "Songbird," a documentary marking Regine Velasquez's 40th year in show business, is set for 2027. Dating series "Hostel Hearts" and podcast "State of Reality TV" are also in production, with air dates still unannounced.
It's an early look at a slate the studio says is just getting started.
