For lolo and lola, the best part of Grandparents' Day is usually the simplest one: a good meal with the whole family in one place. Sicilian Roast is where to gather everyone and stay a while.
The menu is built for sharing, so order a few dishes for the middle of the table — something for everyone from the youngest apo to the grandparents themselves.

Start with the Carbonara Arancino (left), deep-fried risotto balls with a molten carbonara center, made for passing around while everyone settles in. Bring in the Mateo (right) next, a pizza piled with assorted Italian meats over marinara and mozzarella, finished with chili flakes and a side of honey. Close the meal with the Tiramisu (below): mascarpone cream layered with Biscoff, ladyfingers and a chocolate crumble.
Sicilian Roast is open on Grandparents' Day at four Metro Manila locations: Legazpi Village, Makati; Santolan Town Plaza by Rockwell, San Juan; The Arton Strip by Rockwell, Quezon City; and Molito Lifestyle Center, Alabang. Dinner reservations are recommended at all branches.
